The board is branded under the Arsenal gaming series and is packed full of the kind of features you would expect to find on a mid to high end board. With a black PCB and RED LED back lights it is a good looking board. Supporting Intel’s 6th gen of CPU’s and up to 4 x DDR4 Memory moduled up to the speed of 3600Mhz. There are many other features for example MSI’s Gaming LAN port and Military class 4 components for the full list please check out the official web site.

The I/O port layout
To wrap up, the LED back lights are a really nice touch adding a little style once installed in a case and the performance out the box is exactly where you would expect it to be. We had no issue pushing our Intel Core i7 6700k processor to 4700Mhz and overclocked the memory to the advertised 3600Mhz. The M.2 port is well positioned and it was no issue to install a new drive with the GPU installed. Overall for its price we have no complaints and anyone one a budget looking for a great board should take a serious look at the Z170A TOMAHAWK. we see no reason why we would not give it our mark of approval
